DEAR LOVERROBIN..................THAT IS THE SADNESS OF IT ALL.
THE PRISONER'S WIFE .....SHE HAS NO RIGHTS.........
THE INSTITUTION IS NOT ALLOWED TO CALL YOU AND TELL YOU THAT YOUR HUSBAND DID SOMETHING WRONG, AND WAS SENT BACK TO PRISON.
.....AND SO SHE SITS AND WAITS..........IN WONDERMENT.......
THERE ARE NO LAWS AND RULES THAT I KNOW OF IN OUR COUNTRY, THAT WOULD HELP THE LOVED ONES OF PRISONERS...........
IF PEOPLE WOULD WORK TOGETHER FOR THIS CAUSE, THEN MAYBE LAWS WOULD BE MADE. IT IS WHAT I ALWAYS TRIED TO EXPLAIN THROUGH THIS JOURNAL, BUT A LOT OF PEOPLE NEVER UNDERSTOOD.
AND EVEN NOW, I DON'T KNOW WHERE HE IS. I CALLED THE INMATE LOCATOR, BUT THEY DIDN'T ANSWER, SO I'LL TRY AGAIN TOMORROW.......
IT REALLY DOESN'T MATTER WHERE HE IS.......NOTHING REALLY MATTERS RIGHT NOW, THIS MINUTE, FOR ME...BECAUSE I KNOW IT IS JUST NOT OVER YET........AND I HAVE A LOT OF IMPORTANT PERSONAL STUFF TO GET THROUGH IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS, AND I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN HANDLE IT ALONE.......
WELL, I JUST FED PRINCE, AND TOLD HIM HIS DADDY IS NOT COMING HOME FOR QUITE A WHILE , NOW......
I'M NOT SURE IF IT IS WORTH IT............TO LOVE A MAN, WHO IS IN PRISON. RIGHT NOW, I WOULD TELL YOU ALL, IT IS ALMOST NOT WORTH IT....TO TORTURE YOURSELF, AND LIVE IN A WORLD THAT TORTURES YOU...........NOPE, NOT WORTH IT.............EVEN LOVE HAS IT'S BOUNDARIES.
THE PRISON SYSTEM HAS A WAY OF CHANGING YOU........ONCE A HAPPY PERSON, IT CAN DRAIN YOU OUT....IT CAN MAKE YOU SO UNHAPPY, THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO LIVE ANYMORE......WHEN THERE IS NOTHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO, THEN ONE DOES NOT WANT TO LIVE....

I know what you mean about thinking that it just simply isnt worth it but it is. You know the love you hold in your heart and that even though right now is a dark hour that the light will start to shine once again and that you will look back on today and remember the pain of it but it wont feel strong like it does today. One day at a time cause if everyday was the same we all would be booking a one way ticket right out of this world. Just do what you know he would want you to do and you know he would be heart broken to think that he has brought so much saddness into your life at this moment. He loves you and we all can tell by the way you speak of him after he has had a visit home. To be loved the way you are loved by this man is what most people would gladly wait 20 years for since they usually wait a lifetime and never find it. Hang on to that love and hang on to your belief in him. He is feeling what you are feeling and probally more at this very minute. Hugggs Robin
You are right, Fran; the prison system is flawed; the criminal system is flawed. The judicial system is flawed. I'm so sorry it is like that......

Maybe you should push some sort of thing for rights of wives and family to know...you are so smart and I bet you could push through with something like that....I am truly sorry all this is happening to you!
Fran, I am so sorry this is happening to you, you don't deserve any of this happening to you, you are so sweet and I love reading your journal I don't have any words to say that could even begin to be right for this situation other then im sorry and wish you and Jimmy the best of luck.
