bayside prison

IT'S MONDAY EVENING...STILL HAVEN'T HEARD FROM JIMMY.  LAST CONTACT BY PHONE WAS LAST WEDNESDAY...THAT IS 6 DAYS AGO.

NO PHONE CALLS....ONE LETTER RECEIVED.

I SPENT 2 HOURS ON THE PHONE TODAY, GETTING THE RUN- AROUND.....ONE BIG CIRCLE...CALL HERE, CALL THERE....NOBODY EVER SEEMS TO KNOW........AND THAT IS JUST HOW IT IS...YOU'D THINK I'D BE USED TO IT BY NOW, BUT I'M NOT.......

I FINALLY GOT SOME SATISFACTION FROM AT AT&T, CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION DEPT.  A VERY NICE WOMAN SPOKE WITH ME.  SHE CHECKED EVERYTHING ON THE COMPUTER FOR ME, VERY METICULOUSLY.  SHE SAID THERE WERE NO BLOCKS, ON THEIR END.  SHE SAW I HAD PAID THE $700.00 LAST WEEK.  THERE WERE NO PAYMENTS DUE AT THIS TIME.  SHE SAW THAT JIMMY'S LAST CALL WAS AT 7:20 AM, TO CALL ME BEFORE HE LEFT.  SHE SAW THAT WE HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH AT&T CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTIONS, SINCE 2003, WHEN JIMMY FIRST WENT TO BAYSIDE...SHE SAW I HAVE BEEN PAYNG BETWEEN $700.00 to $1200.00/MONTH, FAITHFULLY, EXCEPT WHEN JIMMY WAS AT KINTOCK, THE HALF-WAY HOUSE, BECAUSE HE COULD USE A PHONE CARD THERE.

SO, I Will SIT AND PATIENTLY WAIT.

DID YOU KNW THAT ONE OF THE CORPORAL WORKS OF MERCY, IN THE CATHOLIC FAITH IS,  "TO VISIT THE IMPRISONED."

AND SO, I PUT MY FAITH IN THE LORD, AND PATIENTLY WAIT FOR MY HUSBAND........I PATIENTLY WAIT FOR THIS NIGHT-MARE TO BE OVER ONE DAY...HAVING SOME ONE IN PRISON IS A NIGHT-MARE, BY FAR AND LARGE....

ANYONE THINKING OF COMMITTING A CRIME SHOULD READ THIS JOURNAL, AND SEE EXACTLY HOW IT IS......IT IS A LIFETIME OF TENSION AND STRESS...FOR YOURSELF, AND OTHERS............

BELIEVE ME.  IT IS A BEAUTIFUL WORLD OUT THERE........NOT WORTH IT TO BE IN PRISON...........IF YOU DO IT THE RIGHT WAY IN LIFE, YOU CAN HAVE EVERYTHING, WITHOUT COMMITTING A CRIME....AND IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO CHANGE.

........FRAN

well, if it is any consolation, Fran, a month from now he should be out for good hopefully! good advice you gave at the end for people thinking of committing a crime to think of all the ramifications and the hurt to all those involved. hope you hear from Jimmy soon.
